A Bit About Me

After ducking out of a career in Interior Design, I found myself working for Thomson Holidays as a Travel Consultant. Whilst trying to decide what I really wanted to do when I grew up I was given the chance of becoming the companies Intranet Developer (an area I knew nothing about!).

After a week of training I was left to my own devices. After much blood, sweat and tears, banging my head on the desk and almost throwing my PC out the window! I eventually got the hang of things and thought hold on, this might be something I could see myself doing!

That was over 4 years ago now, and to be honest, I haven't looked back! Thomson shut their Glasgow office in 2006 and I am now a Systems Developer for Barrhead Travel, I also like to dabble in Web Design in my spare time.
