A Bit About Me

After ducking out of a career in Interior Design, I found myself working for Thomson Holidays as a Travel Consultant. Whilst trying to decide what I really wanted to do when I grew up I was given the chance of becoming the companies Intranet Developer (an area I knew nothing about!).

After a week of training I was left to my own devices. After much blood, sweat and tears, banging my head on the desk and almost throwing my PC out the window! I eventually got the hang of things and thought hold on, this might be something I could see myself doing!

That was over 4 years ago now, and to be honest, I haven't looked back! Thomson shut their Glasgow office in 2006 and I am now a Systems Developer for Barrhead Travel, I also like to dabble in Web Design in my spare time.

The Spice Events website is the second website I have been comissioned to build by Maz & Afzal, the first site being www.achocolatedream.co.uk, in their own words:

Spice Events was created by Afzal and Mazhar to meet the needs of today’s generation looking for something unique.

Based in Scotland having many years experience in event management and wedding planning gives you the confidence and comfort required to meet today’s expectations.

Our in-house service extends from our unique Catering service, Stage Decor, Photography and Videography plus much more!

The site is already in production and should be ready in March.
