A Bit About Me

After ducking out of a career in Interior Design, I found myself working for Thomson Holidays as a Travel Consultant. Whilst trying to decide what I really wanted to do when I grew up I was given the chance of becoming the companies Intranet Developer (an area I knew nothing about!).

After a week of training I was left to my own devices. After much blood, sweat and tears, banging my head on the desk and almost throwing my PC out the window! I eventually got the hang of things and thought hold on, this might be something I could see myself doing!

That was over 4 years ago now, and to be honest, I haven't looked back! Thomson shut their Glasgow office in 2006 and I am now a Systems Developer for Barrhead Travel, I also like to dabble in Web Design in my spare time.

I couldn’t resist indulging myself and building a website for my own wedding in August next year, the site contains photos of the big day and information for our guests on where to stay and how to get there. I’ve now also finished a wedding site for my brother who is also getting married next year.

Website Design: Gioia Mia Handmade Jewellery & Accessories

Gioia Mia is the new website for Sonia Tinagli-Macrae a truly talented jewellery designer. The website was launched in January 2008 and uses the Mootools Framework for it’s unusual sliding navigation. The site both (X)HTML and CSS valid.
